WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies or markers are packets of information that are downloaded to a device used to browse a website. Each time you access the site again, your device is automatically recognised.
Cookies allow information about the visit and the visitor to be saved temporarily on the site. Other websites using the same cookie will also be able to recognise the device. Different types of cookies may be used for each access to the site. Cookies allow a website to personalise an access, for example: by showing relevant browsing features; remembering the visitor's preferences; generally improving the user's browsing experience; limiting the number of advertisements sent.
First party cookies are cookies created by the site you are visiting: only that site can read them. In addition, a website can theoretically use external services that also create their own cookies, called third-party cookies.
Persistent cookies are stored on your computer and are not automatically deleted when you close your browser, unlike session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser.
Each time you visit our site you will be asked to accept or decline cookies. This will allow the site to remember your preferences (e.g. language etc.) for a certain period of time. This will ensure that you do not have to re-enter your preferences while browsing the site during the same session.
Cookies may also be used to collect anonymous statistical data about your browsing experience on the site, so-called analytical cookies.
Our site mostly uses first-party cookies: these are cookies created and controlled by the owner. To view some of our pages, however, you will need to accept cookies from outside organisations.
The first party cookies we use are for the following purposes: to save visitor preferences, to operate our websites, to collect statistical (user behaviour) data known as analytics.
The cookies used by this site to save preferences or those of a "technical" type related to the session and navigation of the site will not be read by other sites for advertising or commercial purposes. Therefore, according to cf. art. 122 of the Privacy Code, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the prior consent of users is not required.
The use of analytical type cookies by this site is only for internal research purposes, i.e. to try to improve the service we provide to all our users. These cookies simply serve to evaluate, in an anonymous form, how you interact with our website: the data collected does not identify you personally. Furthermore, this data is not shared with third parties or used for any other purpose. The anonymised statistics may be shared with contractors dealing with communication projects as part of a contractual agreement.
You can refuse analytical cookies by clicking on the cookie banner displayed on the first page you visit or at the bottom of this page.
Third party cookies. Some of our pages display content from external sites such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. In order to view such third party content you must have agreed to their terms and conditions, including their cookie policies, over which we have no control. However, if you do not view such content, no third party cookies will be installed on your device.
HOW TO MENAGE COOKIES
You can manage/delete cookies as you wish: for more information see www.allaboutcookies.org.
Deleting cookies from your device
You can delete all the cookies on your device by deleting the browsing history in your browser, which will delete all the cookies from all the sites you visit. Please note, however, that you may also lose some of the information you have saved (e.g. site preferences).
Managing cookies from specific sites
For more detailed control over site-specific cookies, please check the privacy and cookie settings in your preferred browser.
Most modern browsers allow you to prevent cookies from being set on your device, but you will need to manually adjust some preferences each time you visit a site or page. In addition, some services and features may not work properly (e.g. connecting with a profile).
